Scholarship Application
Deadline: April 20, 2026
- Please only fill out this application on a computer with a strong internet connection.
- It is recommended that you work on essay questions and and other long text responses in a separate document so that you can save your progress.
- If you remain idle for a long period of time, your progress may not be saved.
- If you encounter any technical issues or glitches, please let us know as soon as possible.
- Technical issues do happen. Please save all of your answers in a word document as a precaution to avoid any unforeseen issues.
Application Guidelines
The Agganis Foundation has awarded $2,588,000 million in scholarships to 1,074
student-athletes since it was founded in 1955 to honor the memory of Lynn
Classical, Boston University and Boston Red Sox standout Harry Agganis.
This year, the foundation will award 10 scholarships worth $8,000 each ($2,000 per
year for four years) to deserving student-athletes. To be eligible, an applicant MUST
meet the following criteria:
- Live OR attend school in: Lynn, Lynnfield, Marblehead, Nahant, Peabody, Salem, Saugus, or Swampscott
- Have a grade-point-average of at least 3.0
- Attend an MIAA member school
- Participate in an MIAA-sanctioned varsity sport
- be accepted at a four-year college or university
Interested students must submit the application online by April 20, 2026. The application can found at agganis.scholarshipreviewer.com. Note: the application and all supporting documents, including letters of recommendation and transcripts, must be submitted online.
Applications will be screened by the Agganis Foundation Scholarship Committee.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by May 26.
